the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to both Houses of
the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

CHAPTER 64.
AN ACT to repeal Section 104 of Article I of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County, " sub-title
"County Commissioners, " as amended by Chapter 70 of
the Acts of 1922; and to provide that said Act be passed
as an emergency measure.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 104 of Article I of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County, " sub-title
"County Commissioners, " as amended by Chapter 70 of the
Acts of 1922, be, and the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed by yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 65.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
346 of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), as enacted by Chapter 24 of
1931, title "Carroll County, " sub-title "State's Attor-
ney, " to decrease the salary of said State's Attorney.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 346 of Article 7 of the Code of the
