INSTALLATION OF ELECTRICAL APPARATUS AND WIRING.

143A. That there is hereby created a Board of Elec-
trical Examiners and Supervisors for Calvert County, the
said Board to consist of three persons, for the purpose of
examining into the qualifications and capabilities of all
persons who are engaged or desire to engage in the busi-
ness of Master Electrician as defined in this sub-title. The
present board created by this sub-title shall be B. G. Love-
less, North Beach, Maryland; George W. Dorsey, Prince
Frederick, Maryland, and the President of the Board of
County Commissioners for Calvert County, who shall serve
until the end of the term of the present Governor, after
which time the said board shall be appointed by the Gov-
ernor and shall consist of the President of the Board of
County Commissioners for Calvert County and two com-
petent, practical electricians residing in Calvert County,
for a term of three years. Should any vacancy occur from
any cause during the term of any board as herein provided,
the Governor shall appoint someone to fill such vacancy.
The Governor shall have full power to remove any member
of the Board for incompetency or improper conduct upon
satisfactory evidence being presented to him of such con-
dition.

143B. The members of said board shall respectively
take and subscribe the oath required by other State officers.
They shall have power to elect out of their number a Presi-
dent, Secretary and Treasurer, and to adopt such rules and
by-laws for the transaction of business of the board as they
may deem expedient.

143C. Each member of said board shall receive a com-
pensation of five dollars ($5. 00) per day for actual service
in attending meetings of the board, which compensation
shall be paid out of any moneys in the hands of the Treas-
urer of said board; provided, that the Secretary of said
board may receive such additional compensation as the
board may deem just and reasonable, and for which the
by-laws of the said board may provide; provided, however,
that the compensation and expenses of said board shall, in
no event, be paid out of the funds in the State Treasury or
become a charge against the State or Calvert County.

143D. Said board shall meet at least once in each
month in Prince Frederick, and shall hold special meetings
as frequently as the proper and efficient discharge of its
