SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on and after the first day of June, 1933.

CHAPTER 52.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
2 of Chapter 290 of the Acts of 1842, entitled "An Act
to Incorporate the Maryland State Bible Society, " as said
section was amended by Chapter 148 of the Acts of 1872,
to remove the limitations on the amount of property
which may be held by the said society.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 2 of Chapter 290 of the Acts of
1842, entitled "An Act to Incorporate the Maryland State
Bible Society, " as said section was amended by Chapter 148
of the Acts of 1872, be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

2. The said corporation shall be able and capable in law
to hold by deed, bequest and devise any interest, estate or
property, real, personal or mixed, in possession or expect-
ancy and also to use, sell, mortgage, lease, transfer or
convey all or any part of said property; and that all suits
in favor of or against this corporation shall be conducted
in the name of the President of the Maryland Bible Society.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.
