tion, title "Banks and Trust Companies, " sub-title "Trust
Companies, " to read as follows:

48A. All general or special laws or charters, or such
parts of said laws or charters, inconsistent with the pro-
visions of this Act are hereby repealed, to the extent of
such inconsistency, provided, however, that nothing herein
contained shall be construed to affect or modify any of the
provisions of Chapter 46 of the Acts of 1933.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1933.

CHAPTER 547.

AN ACT to prohibit the sale, manufacture and/or firing of
firecrackers, squibs, rockets and other combustible fire-
works in the second precinct of the Seventh Election
District of Montgomery County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall be unlawful for any person
or persons, partnership, association or body corporate
to manufacture, sell or offer for sale any firecrackers,
squibs, rockets or other combustible fireworks within the
limits of the second precinct of the Seventh Election Dis-
trict of Montgomery County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That it shall be
unlawful for any person or persons to fire, detonate, set
off or burn any firecrackers, rockets, squibs or other com-
bustible fireworks within the limits of the said second pre-
cinct of the Seventh Election District of Montgomery
County at any time other than on July Fourth.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That any person or
persons, association, or body corporate violating any of
the provisions of this Act, upon conviction before the Police
Justice of Montgomery County, or in the Circuit Court of
Montgomery County, shall be deemed guilty of a misde-
