issue on the faith and credit of said County "Certificates
of Indebtedness, " as the evidence of said debt, in the de-
nominations of $100, $500 and/or $1000; and each certifi-
cate of each denomination shall be numbered from No. 1
seriatim, and payable respectively on or before five years
from date of issue, shall bear interest and shall plainly on
their face designate the year 1933 or 1934 as the case may
be; and that they are issued on the faith and credit of Prince
George's County and constitute an obligation on the part
of the County to pay the same; and each and all of said
certificates shall provide for payment on or before five
years from the date of issue; and shall also contain a pro-
vision that the same may be redeemable at any time before
maturity and in fact may be redeemed before maturity
date, provided the County Commissioners shall give public
notice of the purpose to redeem the same after not less than
fifteen days publication in at least two newspapers pub-
lished in Prince George's County and one daily newspaper
published in the City of Baltimore; and preference shall be
given to the redemption of the certificates issued in 1933,
as against those issued in 1934, and preference shall like-
wise be given in all instances to the anterior dated certifi-
cates in either year.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the County
Commissioners aforesaid be, and they are hereby author-
ized to levy at the levying-laying terms in the years 1934,
1936, 1936, 1937, 1938 and 1939 such sum or sums as the
credit of the County shall warrant for the redemption at
any given period of all or any portion of said then out-
standing Certificates of Indebtedness; the purpose of this
Act being that the County Commissioners can and may an-
ticipate the maturity and pay off any and all Certificates
of Indebtedness and redeem the same whenever conditions
warrant said redemption or redemptions.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the provisions
of Section 326 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), which are inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act, be and they are hereby
suspended to the extent of such inconsistency until Jan-
uary 1, 1936.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That if any section
or part of any section of this Act shall be deemed for any
reason to be unconstitutional, said section so deemed to be
unconstitutional or part of section so deemed to be uncon-
