title "County Commissioners, " regulating the salary to
be paid to the clerk to the County Commissioners.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 82 of Article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition) title
"Charles County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
to read as follows:
82. He shall receive a salary of five hundred dollars
per annum, and shall receive no extra or other compensa-
tion or fees of any kind for the duties now imposed upon
himself by law by the provisions of this Act or otherwise,
which may properly appertain to his office.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 534.
AN ACT to add one new section to Article 3 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Baltimore County, " to be under sub-title "Sabbath, "
said new section to be known as Section 689A and to fol-
low immediately after Section 689 of said Article, pre-
scribing the regulations under which motion pictures
may be held, shown, played and/or exhibited in Baltimore
County on Sunday, with or without a charge or admis-
sion fee, and to prescribe penalties for violation thereof,
and to repeal Sections 483 and 485 of Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title
"Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Sabbath Break-
ing, " in so far as said sections prohibit the exhibition
of motion pictures in Baltimore County on Sunday.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That one new section be and the same is here-
