also by levying such annual tax upon all the taxable prop-
erty within the limits of said county, as may be neces-
sary to pay said bonds and interest thereon as they re-
spectively mature and become due and payable and gen-
erally to provide for the issuance and retirement of said
bonds and to defray the costs and expenses thereof, and
providing that said Act be passed as an emergency
measure.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Talbot
County are hereby authorized and empowered to borrow
money on the faith and credit of said county, and to issue
and sell coupon bonds therefor from time to time, for an
amount not to exceed in the aggregate Two Hundred Thou-
sand Dollars ($200, 000), in denominations of One Thou-
sand Dollars each and in accordance with the serial num-
bers and designations as hereinafter provided, said bonds
shall bear interest at a rate to be determined and fixed by
a resolution of the County Commissioners of Talbot County,
not exceeding six per centum per annum, said bonds shall
each be dated as of the first day of April, 1933, and the
interest thereon shall be payable semi-annually on the first
days of April and October of each and every year, account-
ing from April 1, 1933, until said bonds are respectively
paid, coupons to be attached to said bonds for each of said
semi-annual interest payments, each of said bonds when
issued shall be signed by the President of the County Com-
missioners of Talbot County and shall have affixed thereto
and thereon the corporate seal of the County Commis-
sioners of Talbot County and shall be duly attested by the
the interest coupons thereto attached shall bear the fac-
simile signature of the County Treasurer of said county,
signature of the County Treasurer for Talbot County, and
printed, lithographed or engraved thereon, and all of said
bonds and interest on all of said bonds shall be and re-
main exempt from State, County and Municipal taxes.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said bonds
shall have written or printed on them a distinct reference
to this Act and shall be known as "Floating Debt Refund-
ing Bonds of Talbot County, 1933" and that all of said
bonds shall bear the date of the first day of April, 1933,
and shall be issued in the denominations of One Thousand
($1, 000) Dollars each, and shall mature and be payable in
series as hereinafter mentioned, in the sum of Fifty Thou-
sand ($50, 000) Dollars of each year beginning April 1,
