Sec. 10. And Be it enacted, That dividends of so
much of the profits of the said company, as shall
appear advisable to the Directors, shall be declar-
ed twice a year, in every year, and paid to the
stockholders on demand, at any time at the expi-
ration of ten days therefrom, but the dividends
shall in no case exceed the net profits actually
acquired by the company.

Sec. 11. And be it enacted, That at each annual
meeting of the Stockholders, the Directors of the
preceding year shall exhibit to them a complete
statement of the affairs and proceedings of the

Sec. 12. And be it enacted, That the said com-
pany be and thereby authorized to locate and con-
struct a railroad from some convenient point at the
limits of the city of Baltimore, to be selected by
them to Pikesville, Baltimore county, over the
Reisterstown Turnpike road or such other route as
they may select, and for such purpose, may enter
into any contract with said Turnpike Road Com-
pany, with the assent of said Turnpike Road Com-
pany, which they are hereby authorized to give
and upon such terms as may be agreed upon be-
tween said companies, and not otherwise, and may
enter upon any land necessary for locating, laying
out or making the said road, branches or exten-
sions, or over another route that may be selected,
and may procure land, stone, gravel, earth, wood
or timber for such use, and obtain the right to the
same as hereinafter provided.
