CHAPTER 161.

AN ACT for the benefit of the Rev. John Gloyd,
as pastor of the Roman Catholic Church in the
city of Westminster, in the State of Maryland.

Passed Feb.
7, 1866.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That William A. McKellip, the ex-
ecutor of the last will and testament of Christopher
Roney, may, and he is hereby authorized and em-
powered to pay and advance agreeably to the said
last will and testament, unto the Rev. John
Gloyd, as Pastor of the Roman Catholic Church in
the city of Westminster, in the State of Maryland,
the legacy,, devise and bequest, given and be-
queathed to him by the said Christopher Roney,
in and by his last will and testament, and also is
authorized to permit him to take, have and enjoy,
and use the same to every intent or purpose, agree-

ably to the said last will and testament; and that
the said Rev. John Gloyd, Pastor as aforesaid, be,
and he is hereby authorized to take, have and re-
ceive, and to demand, sue for and recover, in any
court of law or equity, in this State, the said be-
quest, gift and devise, made and given to him as
Pastor of said Church, in and by the said last will
and testament of the said Christopher Roney.

take effect from the date of its passage.
