AN ACT to repeal the three hundred and ninety-
seventh section of article four of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled, "City of Bal timore, "
and relating to the appointment of Inspector
General and Assistant Inspector of Grain for
the City of Baltimore.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section three hundred and
ninety-seven of article four of the Code of Public
Local Laws, entitled, "City of Baltimore, " relating
to the appointment of Inspector General and As-
sistant Inspector of Grain, be, and the same is
hereby repealed.

Repealed.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after the day of its passage.
|

CHAPTER 150.
AN ACT to prohibit the granting of license for the
sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager
beer, at or near Upper Hunting Creek, in Caro-
line and Dorchester counties, in the State of
Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That hereafter it shall not be lawful
for the Clerks of the Circuit Courts for Caroline or
Dorchester counties, to issue license to any person
or persons to sell spirituous or fermented liquors or
lager beer, at Upper Hunting Creek, Maryland, or
at any place nearer than two miles in every direc-
tion, unless for medicinal purpose, and upon the
prescription of a respectable physician.
