CHAPTER 109.
AN ACT to legalize the election of Trustees of the
First Lutheran Church, of Frostburg, held No-
vember the twenty-third, eighteen hundred and
sixty-five.
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, The Formula of the First Lutheran
Church, of Frostburg, Allegany county, requires
that two weeks previous notice be given before an
election for trustees of said church takes place; and
whereas, such notice had not been given previous
the to the election of trustees for said church held on
twenty-third day of November, eighteen hundred
and sixty-five; Therefore,

Made valid.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the election held on the twen-
ty-third day of November, eighteen hundred and
sixty-five, of Douglas Persey, William Staples,
Jacob Steyer, William Humbertson and John W.
Porter, as Trustees of the First Lutheran Church,
of Frostburg, Allegany county, be made valid.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 110.
|

AN ACT to regulate the issuing of license for the
sale of spirituous or fermented liquors within the
limits of the town of Cecilton, in Cecil county.

Privilege of
deciding by
ballot.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the qualified voters residing in
the town of Cecilton, in Cecil county, shall have
the privilege of deciding by ballot, at the time for
holding the next election tor town commissioners
of said town, and at the time for holding election
for commissioners for said town each and every
