and sixty-four, chapter fifty-five, shall be paya-
ble by the collectors of said county, in whose
hands the same was placed, to the order of said
County Commissioners, and shall he applied by
them to the purpose of this act; and said County
Commissioners shall, in addition to such sum make
such further and additional levies in the years
eighteen hundred and sixty-six and eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-seven, as may be necessary to carry
out the foregoing provisions.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the act of
eighteen hundred and sixty-four, chapter fifty-five,
not having been executed, be, and the same is
hereby repealed.

Repeal.

'Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

AN ACT providing for refitting and re-furnishing
the Executive Chamber.

SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sum of two thousand dol-
lars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be
appropriated for the purpose of refitting and re-
furnishing the Executive Chamber, the same to be
done under the direction and supervision of the
Secretary of State.

take effect from the date of its passage.
