AN ACT to repeal section fifty-seven of article
first of the Code of Public Local Laws, of Alle-
gany county, relating to "Deer, " and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section fifty-seven of the Code
of Public Local Laws, of Allegany county, relating
to "Deer, "he and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, to read as follows:

Not lawful
to destroy
deer.
|
57. It shall not be lawful for any person or
persons to kill or destroy, or try to kill or destroy-
any wild deer in Allegany county, except in the
months of August, September, October, November
and December, and it shall not be lawful for any
person or persons during these months to catch or
fry to catch or destroy any wild deer by running
or chasing them by dog or dogs, except in cases of
wounded deer, and for each and every violation of
this section, the offender shall, on conviction, pay
a flue of not less than fifteen dollars.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
William Camden and David Fowler, extra com-
pensation for services rendered the State.
|
Authorized to
issue warrant
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller is hereby di-
rected to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer to
pay William Camden three hundred dollars for
extra service as clerk to the Treasurer, in discharge
