of said company shall be fifty thousand dollars, in
twenty-five hundred shares of twenty dollars each,
the certificates for said stock to be issued in such
manner and upon such terms and conditions as shall
he provided for in the constitution and by-laws of
said company.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, that this act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.

AN ACT to refund to Levi Valentine and Levi
Yingling certain sums of money erroneously paid
into the State Treasury.

Authorized
to pay.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer be authorised an
directed, upon the warrant of the Comptroller, to
pay Levi Valentine, or order, collector of State taxes
of the first election district of Carroll county, the
sum of eighty-seven dollars and ninety-one cents,
and also, to pay Levi Yingling, or order, collector
of State taxes of the third election district of the
said county, the sum of seventy-five dollars and
eleven cents, erroneously paid into the State Trea-
sury by the said collectors in the year eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-four.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
