AN ACT to permit the Baltimore Union Passenger

Railway Company to lay its tracks upon certain

streets in the city of Baltimore, with the consent

of the Mayor and City Council, and to lease and

operate the lines of other railway companies.

WHEREAS the Baltimore Union Passenger Rail-

way Company, a corporation incorporated under the

act of eighteen hundred and seventy-six, chapter

two hundred and forty-two, has duly become vested

with all the rights and franchises granted by the

Preamble.
