Resolved, That the profound sympathy of the

 

people of Maryland is herewith tendered to the

 

grief-stricken mother, widow and family of the late

the Honorable George William Brown, as Chief

 

Judge of the Supremo Bench of Baltimore city,

 

until the expiration of the term of fifteen years

 

from the time of his election.

 

WHEREAS the Honorable George William Brown,

 

of Baltimore city, was duly elected by the quali-

 

fied voters of Baltimore city Chief Judge of the

 

Supreme Bench of Baltimore city on the fourth

 

Wednesday of October in the year eighteen hun-

 

dred and seventy-three, for the term of fifteen

 

years from the time of his election and until his
