Chapter 465.

 

AN ACT for the better protection of partridges

 

in Carroll county.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for any

 

person or persons in Carroll county to shoot, kill

 

or in any manner destroy or trap any partridge or

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person vio-

sions shall pay a fine of ten dollars for each and

 

every partridge so shot, killed, destroyed or in

 

any manner caught or trapped, or for any eggs or

 

nests so molested or destroyed, said fine or fines

 

to be recovered before a justice of the peace of

 

said county or by indictment in the circuit court
