Chapter 453.
AN ACT to sanction a devise and bequest, made in
his last will and testament, by Jehu Gorsuch, late
of Baltimore city, deceased, to the Bishops of the
Methodist Episcopal Church, for the purpose of
supporting the superannuated, worn-out itinerant
ministers of the Baltimore Annual Conference of
the Methodist Episcopal Church.
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby
given to item twelve, of the last will and testament
of Jehu Gorsueh, late of Baltimore city, deceased,
by which the testator gave and devised, to the Bis-
hops of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States of America, who are therein named,	Sanction given
and their successors, ten thousand dollars of the
stock debt of the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more, to be held by them in trust, for the purpose
of supporting the superannuated, or worn-out itiner- ant ministers of the Baltimore Annual Conference
of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take	Effective.
effect from the date of its passage.
