Chapter 35.

AN ACT to Protect the Health of Female Em-

ployees of Baltimore city.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That it shall be the duty of all
|
 
|
employers of females in any mercantile or manufac-
|
 
|
turing business or occupation in the city of Balti-
|

use of such female employees, and to permit the use

of such seats by such employees to such an extent

as may be reasonable for the preservation of their

Chapter 36.
|

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay

John W. Bell, late Collector of State Taxes in
|
 
|
Montgomery county, the amount overpaid by
|
 
|
him into the Treasury.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by ike General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of this
|
 
|
State be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
|

to pay John W. Bell, of Montgomery county, the
|
 
|
sum of twenty-one dollars and twenty one cents,
|

being the amount overpaid by the said John W.

for the fifth collection district of Montgomery

county, as certified by the officers of the Treasury

Department, as required by section thirty-three of
