Chapter 436.

AN ACT to provide for the Payment of Costs in-

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the costs incurred in appeals

AN ACT to incorporate the " Choptank and

Blackwater Canal and Land Improvement

Company."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That Edwin H. Dashield, Dr. Wil-

liam R. Hayward, Daniel M. Henry, William

Wilson, Byron Clement Sullivan, Lazarus Powell,

Edward W. Lecompt, James H. Eccleston, Wil-

liam Wilson Dall, Alfred J. Mowbray, Charles H.

Seward, James Wallace, Joseph H. Johnson,.

Lebulon Mitchell, David Straughan, William H.

Appointed

commissioners

Hopkins, Henry W, Straughan and Thomas C.

Eaton be and they are hereby appointed commis-

sioners to open books and receive subscriptions to

the capital stock of the company hereby incorpo-

rated, and the said commissioners, or any five ot

them, shall fix the time and place of securing

such subscriptions, and shall continue said books

open to secure subscriptions so long as they may

deem necessary to complete the trust.
