LAWS OP MARYLAND.

 

proved by the Comptroller of the treasury, and to

 

pay Wilson G. Register for vaccine matter furnished

 

the State during the late small-pox epidemic, two

 

thousand five hundred and twenty-eight dollars and

 

ten cents, said claim having been approved by the

 

Comptroller of the treasury; to the State Librarian

 

for the purchase of stationery, one hundred and fifty

 

dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary;

 

to the two Night Watchmen in the Public Buildings

 

at Annapolis, six hundred dollars each — twelve hun-

 

dred dollars; to the person employed to take care

 

of the public buildings and grounds, six hundred

 

dollars; to the person employed to take care of the

 

Court of Appeals room, one hundred dollars; to the

 

person employed to take charge of the Governor's

 

Mansion and the furnaces thereof, six hundred dol-

 

lars; to the keeper of the State House furnaces,

 

and to his assistant, six hundred dollars each —

Senate and the Chief Clerk of the House of Dele-

 

gates, for salaries during the recess of the Legisla-

 

ture, three hundred dollars each — six hundred dol-

 

lars; to the Governor of Maryland, the sum of five

 

thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be

 

necessary to carry into effect the provisions of the

 

registration act passed at the present session of the

 

General Assembly, providing for the preparation

 

and delivery of the registration books and the duties

 

of the Executive under said act; to the newspapers

 

in which shall be published the defaulters to the

 

State previous to the election of 1884, to be distri-

 

buted by the Comptroller upon bills rendered, one

 

thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be

 

necessary; to pay for the publication of the Public

 

General Laws made to take effect from the date of

 

their passage, as provided to be published under

 

the laws of this State, sixteen thousand dollars, or

 

so much thereof as may be necessary.
