LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

dollars; for the salaries of the fourteen Associate

 

Judges of the first seven judicial circuits, two

 

thousand eight hundred dollars each — thirty-nine

 

thousand two hundred dollars; for the salaries of

 

the Judge of the Court of Appeals from Baltimore

 

city, and of the Chief Judge and four Associate

 

Judges of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore city,

 

three thousand five hundred dollars each — twenty-

 

one thousand dollars; for the salary of the Attorney

 

General, three thousand dollars; for commissions to

 

Attorneys, on claims of the State in their hands for

 

collection, five thousand dollars, or so much thereof

Salaries for

as may be necessary; for the Crier of the Court of

Judiciary, &c.

Appeals, nine hundred dollars, or so much thereof

 

as the clerk of the Court of Appeals may certify

 

that he is entitled to receive; for the salary of the

 

State Reporter, one thousand dollars; for the States'

 

subscription to two hundred copies each of volumes

 

fifty-seven, fifty-eight and fifty-nine, of the Maryland

 

Reports, forty-two hundred dollars, or so much

 

thereof as may be necessary, and for the paper on

 

which the said volumes may be printed, in accord-

 

ance with the act of eighteen hundred and sixty-

 

seven, chapter four hundred and ten, three hundred

 

and fifty dollars for each volume, or so much thereof

 

as may be necessary.

 

MILITIA.

 

For the support of the Militia of the State, to be

 

expended under the supervision of the Governor,

 

under the provisions of the act of eighteen hundred

 

and seventy, chapter one hundred and eighty-two,

 

thirteen thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may

 

be necessary, to be distributed as follows, to wit :

 

For the salary of the Adjutant General, fifteen hun-

 

dred dollars; for the incidental expenses of the

Salary of Ad-

Adjutant General's office, five hundred dollars, or

jutant Gener-
al, &c.

so much thereof as may be necessary; for the sup-

 

port of the twenty-three Military Companies now

 

in existence in the State, four hundred and fifty

 

dollars each, to be expended upon the approval of

 

the Governor and Commander-in-Chief, upon the

 

requisition of the Company Commander, approved

 

by battalion and brigade commanders; to the head-

 

quarters of each battalion and brigade, two hundred
