AN ACT to incorporate the Baltimore and Ohio

Railroad Employees' Relief Association.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That John W. Garrett, William
|
 
|
M Clements, Samuel R. Johnson, N. E. Chapman,
|
 
|
Andrew Anderson, David Lee, William Franklin,
|

William H. Harrison, G. M. Supell, Arthur Sinsell

and William T. Bernard, and their successors, chosen

|
as a committee of management and a board of trus-
|
 
|
tees in the manner hereinafter provided, shall be a
|
 
|
corporation under the name of "The Baltimore and
|
 
|
Ohio Employees' Relief Association," the objects of
|
 
|
which shall be to extend relief in cases of sickness,
|
 
|
injury, old age and death, to the employees of the
|
 
|
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company and their
|
 
|
families, and also to the employees of such other
|
 
|
railroad companies as this association may permit
|
 
|
to participate in its benefits, and to the families of
|

such employees; to receive deposits on interest from

money at lawful rates of interest, in order to provide
