Chapter 344.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Comptroller

of the Treasury to pay to the public schools the

gum of thirty-four thousand and sixty-nine dollars

and thirty-six cents, due to the public school fund

for the year eighteen hundred and seventy seven.

WHEREAS it has been represented to this General

Assembly that the sum of thirty-four thousand and

sixty-nine dollars and thirty-six cents, being one-fifth

of the revenue derived from the tax on the Wash-

ington Branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad

three, remains unpaid, as appears by the Comptrol-

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treas-
