Chapter 341.

 

AN ACT to authorize and require Columbus J.

 

Shipley, of Baltimore county, to grant unto the

 

Trustees of the Catonsville Methodist Episcopal

 

Church, by a sufficient deed, a certain lot of ground

 

in Baltimore county.

 
   

WHEREAS the lot of ground on which said Catons-

 

ville Methodist Episcopal Church now stands was,

 

very many years ago, transferred by deed by Rebecca

 

Somerville to Richard Herbert, Wm. Marr, Jacob

 

Ruff, John Liddard and Columbus J. Shipley, the

 

building committee of said church; and whereas

said Columbus J. Shipley is the sole survivor of said

 

committee, and it is desired to have the sanction of

 

the General Assembly to enable him to give a good

 

and sufficient deed therefor to the trustees of said

 

church, therefore —

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That Columbus J. Shipley, sole

 

surviving member of said building committee, be

 

and he is hereby authorized, empowered and re-

 

quired to grant and convey unto said Trustees of

 

the Catonsville Methodist Episcopal Church afore-

 

said, by a good and sufficient deed, in fee simple,
