SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the residents of

 

said county be allowed to catch oysters with scoops

 

or light dredges in the waters above named, by ob-

 

taining from the clerk of the Circuit Court for said

issue said license as hereinbefore provided; the ap-

 

plicant shall set forth in said oath or affirmation

 

before obtaining said license, that he has been a

 

bona fide resident of said county for the twelve

 

months next preceding his application for said

 

license, and that he intends to use the said boat or

 

vessel to catch oysters with scrape, scoop or dredge

 

only, in the waters of said county, and that he will

 

comply with and obey all laws of this State regu-

 

lating the catching of oysters, and if said boat is

 

not over five tons, he shall make oath to that fact ;
