SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he

 

is hereby authorized and directed to issue his war-

 

rant on the Treasurer in favor of Alexander R.

 

Claytor, late collector of State taxes in the first

 

district of Anne Arundel county, for the sum of

fifty-one dollars and sixty-six cente, erroneously paid

 

by him into the State Treasury, as certified by the

 

officers of the Treasury Department, and on the

 

recommendation of said officers, as required by sec-
