SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That said company

shall start and run their cars for transportation of

by the said directors, and of which they shall give

public notice, and shall furnish sufficient accom-

modation for the transportation of all such passengers

and property as shall, within a reasonable time pre-

vious thereto, be offered for transportation, at the

place of starting, and at the usual stopping places

fixed by said directors for receiving and discharging

way passengers and freight for that train, and shall

take, transport and discharge such passengers and

property at, from and to such places on the due pay-
ment of the fare or freight legally chargeable therefor,

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That for the purpose

of constructing and equipping said railroad and

branches, the directors of said company are hereby

authorized to borrow money to such an amount as

they may consider necessary, the interest thereon to

be paid semi-annually, and to issue their bonds

and to secure the payment of said bonds and their

interest by executing and delivering to such trustee

or trustees, as they may select, a mortgage of all or

any part of the road, roads, branches, rights, liberties

and franchises of the said company.

SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That on the comple-

tion of said railroad, or any section thereof, it shall
