SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County

Commissioners of Anne Arundel county to pro-

vide for the preservation of the Public Records
|
 
|
and Archives of said county, and to levy such
|
 
|
sums of money as may be necessary to accomplish
|
 
|
that purpose.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That the County Commissioners
|
 
|
of Anne Arundel county be and they are hereby
|
 
|
authorized and empowered to provide for the pres-
|

said county, in such a manner as they may deem

necessary and expedient, and to levy such sums of
|
 
|
money as may be necessary to accomplish that

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That if the said county

commissioners shall, in the exercise of their judg-
|
 
|
ment, determine either that the present public court
|
 
|
offices can be made fire-proof, or that a new fire-
|
 
|
proof apartment will be necessary, then and in that
