Chapter 230.

AN ACT to repeal the one hundred and thirty-
|
 
|
second section of chapter four hundred and sev-
|
 
|
enty-one of the acts of January, section eigh-
|
 
|
teen hundred and sixty-eight, entitled " An Act
|
 
|
to repeal article twenty-six of the Code of
|
 
|
Public General Laws, and to enact a substitute
|
 
|
therefor, and to repeal section twenty-two of
|
 
|
article sixteen, sections ninety-nine to one hun-
|
 
|
dred and three of the same article, and sections
|
 
|
thirty-three to forty-three of article eighty-eight
|
 
|
of the Code of Public General Laws," and to
|
 
|
re-enact the same with amendments, relating to
|
 
|
the consolidation of telegraph companies and
|
 
|
the extension of their lines into other States.
|
 
|
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
 
|
of Maryland, That section one hundred and thir-
|
 
|
ty-two of chapter four hundred and seventy-one
|
 
|
of the acts of January session, eighteen hundred
|
 
|
and sixty-eight, entitled " An act to repeal article
|
 
|
twenty-six of the Code of Public General Laws,
|

and to enact a substitute therefor, and to repeal

re-enacted.

|

cle, and sections thirty-three to forty-three of arti-

Laws." be and the same is repealed and re-enacted
|
 
|
so as to read as follows :

SECTION 132. Any such corporation formed as
|
 
|
aforesaid, may, with the consent of the majority
|
 
|
of the owners of the capital stock of such cor-
|
 
|
poration, giving in general meeting, extend their
