At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun
and held at the City of Annapolis, on the fourth day of
January, 1882, His Excellency WILLIAM T. HAMILTON
being Governor, the following Laws were enacted, to wit:
Chapter 1.

AN ACT to repeal sections two, four, five and six,
|
 
|
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Dorches-
|
 
|
ter County," sub-title " County Commissioners,"
|
 
|
as enacted by the act of assembly, eighteen hun-
|
 
|
dred and seventy-eight, chapter one hundred and
|
 
|
sixty, and to re-enact the same with amendments
|
 
|
providing for a change in the districts of the
|
 
|
county for the purposes of that law, and also a
|
 
|
new mode of appointing the treasurer of the
|
 
|
county.

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That sections two, four, five and
|
 
|
six, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Dor-
|
 
|
chester county, sub-title " County Commissioners,"
|
Repealed and
|
as enacted by act of assembly of eighteen hundred
|
re-enacted.
|
and seventy-eight, chapter one hundred and sixty,
|
 
|
be and the same are hereby repealed, and the same
|
 
|
are hereby re-enacted so as to read as follows:
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Dorchester
|
 
|
county be and is hereby divided into five commis-
|
 
|
sioner districts, as follows: Commissioner district
|
Commissioner
|
number one shall be composed of the first (or Fork),
|
districts.
