LAWS OP MARYLAND,

 

Chapter 168.

 

AN ACT to create a new election district in Mont-

 

gomery county, to be known as Barnesville dis-

 

trict, number eleven, or the eleventh election dis-

 

trict of Montgomery county, and to designate the

 

voting place thereof, and to provide for the ap-

 

pointing of justices of the peace, an officer of

 

registration of voters, and constables therefor; and

 

to change the name and voting place of the third

 

election district of said county, and to add a por-

 

tion of said third election district of said county

 

to the second election district of said county.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That a new election district be
formed and laid out in Montgomery county, corn-

 

posed of portions of the second and third election

 

districts of said county, the metes and bounds of

 

which shall be as follows : Beginning for the same

 

where the Gaithersburg and Barnesville road is

 

crossed by Little Seneca creek, thence with said

 

Gaithersburg and Barnesville road in the direction

 

of Barnesville, and through the village of Boyds to

 

where the said Gaithersburg and Barnesville road

 

is intersected by the new cut road on the north side

 

of said Gaithersburg and Barnesville road, about a

Metes and

half mile from said village of Boyds, and at the

bounds.

with said new cut road across the Baltimore road

 

to where said new cut road intersects the Barnes-

 

ville and Clarksburg road at the residence of Jerome

 

Thompson; thence with said Barnesville and Clarks-

 

burg road for about a quarter of a mile in the direc-

 

tion of Barnesville to where said Barnesville and

 

Clarksburg road is intersected by the road leading

 

therefrom to Hyattstown; thence with said road

 

leading to Hyattstown to where the same is crossed

 

by the branch near the residence of John W. Nich-

 

olson; thence down and with said branch to where

 

the same is crossed by the dividing line between

 

Frederick and Montgomery counties; thence with

 

said dividing line in a westwardly direction to the

 

Potomac river; thence down and with said Potomac
