Chapter 121.

 

AN ACT to amend an act entitled "An Act to

 

punish the sale or other disposition of Intoxicat-

 

ing Liquors on or near the graded road leading

 

from the Western Maryland Railroad to High

 

Rock in Washington county."

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for

 

any person or persons, licensed or unlicensed, di-

 

rectly or indirectly, to barter, sell, exchange, trade

 

or deal in any kind of spirituous or fermented liq-

 

uors or intoxicating drinks of any kind upon the

 

graded road leading from the Western Maryland

 

railroad to " High Rock " in Washington county,

 

or at any place in this State within one-quarter of

section shall be liable to indictment by the grand

 

jury of Washington county, and shall, upon convic-

 

tion thereof, be fined not less than fifty dollars nor
