incorporation laws of this State, desire to have their

powers thereunder enlarged and extended; there-

fore —

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That the Baltimore Medical Col-
|
 
|
lege, incorporated under the general laws of this
|
 
|
State, by charter duly recorded among the records
|
 
|
of the Superior Court of Baltimore city, in which
|
 
|
appear the names of Harvey L. Byrd, M. D , W.
|
 
|
Robert Monroe, M. D., Benjamin F. Leonard, M. D.,
|
 
|
Henry Froeling, M. D., L. Wheaton Clapp, M. D.,
|
 
|
Adolph G. Hoen, M. D., and L. Roberts Coates,
|
 
|
M. D., as the incorporators thereof; they and their
|

|
successors shall have perpetual succession as such,
|
succession.
|
and they shall be and are hereby authorized to annex
|
 
|
other schools, to confer degrees, and to have and to
|
 
|
hold by purchase, gift or otherwise, suitable grounds
|
 
|
and buildings thereon for educational, scientific and
|
 
|
hospital purposes, not exceeding in value five hun-
|
 
|
dred thousand dollars, subject to the right of the
|

and subject to all the laws of this State relating to

corporations applicable thereunto.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall

county,' " and to re-enact the same with amend-
|

ments and additional sections.
