company or association, to sell directly or indirectly,

appear by the returns of said judges of election and

proclamation of the clerk of said court that a ma-

jority of the votes as prescribed in the third section

of this act have been cast for the sale of intoxi-

cating liquors then the same shall be sold as now
|

permitted by law.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That if any person or

persons, house, company, association or body corpo-
