Chapter 91.

 

AN ACT to enlarge the powers of the Washington

 

and Atlantic Railroad Company.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That in order to enable the Wash-

 

ington and Atlantic Railroad Company (a corpora-

 

tion duly incorporated under the laws of this State)

 

to carry out the purposes for which it was organ-

 

ized, the said company is hereby authorized and

 

empowered to cross the tracks of any and all other
railroad companies lying between its termini, and

by substantial bridging or trestling, or under the
