to said Saunders the sum of sixty dollars as the net

proceeds of the sale of said schooner, by order of

said court, by the marshal, after paying all the costs

of the suit, whereby the said Saunders is the loser
|
 
|
of a large sum of money for the benefit of the State
|
 
|
and its oyster law, unless he be reimbursed by said
|
 
|
State; therefore,

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the
|
 
|
Treasury of this State be and he is hereby directed
|
 
|
to draw his warrant upon the Treasurer, in favor of
|

Daniel J. Saunders, for the sum of three hundred
|
 
|
and ninety-five dollars, to cover his expenditures as
|
 
|
stated in the above preamble.

AN ACT to repeal chapter tive hundred and two
|
 
|
of the acts passed at the January session of eigh-
|
 
|
teen hundred and seventy-eight, being "An Act to
|
 
|
repeal sections one and two of the acts of Janu-
|
 
|
ary session, eighteen hundred and seventy-two,
|
 
|
chapter one hundred and ninety-eight," entitled
|
 
|
"An Act for the protection of and to regulate the
|
 
|
time and manner of catching and taking fish and
|
 
|
terrapins in that portion of the Potomac river be-
|
 
|
tween Maryland Point, in Charles county, and
|
 
|
Chiseldines Island, in St. Mary's county, and to
|
 
|
re-enact the same with amendments, and to add
|
 
|
additional sections thereto."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That chapter five hundred and
|
