Use and benefit of sundry religious corporations or denomi-
nations.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the said General As-
sembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared, given
and granted to the following deeds made to and for the use and
benefit of sundry religious corporations or denominations:
1. To the deed from John L. Shaw and Cleve C. Pulver,
joint tenants, to the General Conference Corporation of the
Seventh-Day Adventists, of lots Nos. 1 and 2 in Block 28, of
Herald Harbor, in Anne Arundel County;
2. To the deed from John L. Shaw and Cleve C. Pulver, to
the General Conference Corporation of the Seventh-Day Ad-
ventists, of one acre of ground on the east side of Bladensburg
Road, in Montgomery County, State of Maryland, as particu-
larly described in a deed from Archibald W. Truman, et ux, by
deed dated March 20, 1935, and recorded among the Land Rec-
ords of Montgomery County in Liber 588, at Folio 355;
Both of these deeds are dated April 5, 1937 and will be re-
corded hereafter.
3. To the deed from Frank Steil Brewing Company to the
Trustees of the Payson Street Methodist Protestant Church,
in the City of Baltimore, of the property at the northwest cor-
ner of Frederick Avenue and Payson Street, the deed being
dated August 27th, 1920, and recorded among the Land Rec-
ords of Baltimore City in Liber S. C. L. 3636, Folio 58.
4. To the bequests contained in the Will of Susan E. H.
Forster, the Will being dated August 12, 1935, and recorded
in the Office of the Register of Wills of Baltimore County in
Liber J. P. C. No. 31, Folio 211, the said Will providing that
the proceeds of her estate be divided equally between the
following:
The Bowery Mission, New York;
The Salvation Army, Inc., of New York;
The Hamilton Baptist Church, Hamilton, Baltimore, Md.;
The Little Sisters of the Poor of Baltimore;
Faith Presbyterian Church of Baltimore, at Gay, Broadway
and Biddle Streets.
5. To the Deed from Mercantile Trust Company of Balti-
more to the Salvation Army of Georgia, dated the 2nd day of
April, 1937, and recorded among the Land Record of Balti-
more City in Liber S. C. L. No. 5708, Folio 436.
