books bound together, each containing entries as above.
The debt book for 1755 (here improperly labelled 1758)
has 63 pages; the debt book for 1756 and 1757 has 27
pages; 1758 (here improperly labelled and inserted as
1755) has 60 pages. The 1760 debt book is misla-
belled—the date is illegible—but it has the same ar-
rangement and almost the identical entries as the 1734
debt book and does not include alienations beyond 1738,
so is probably to be dated somewhere in the thirties.
It has 66 pages. The debt book for 1761 has 25 pages;
1766 has 62 pages. All of these books are arranged
alphabetically by names of rent-payers with the excep-
tion of the mislabelled "1760" one.
Liber 20—Debt Books 1784, S7, 56 Dorchester County. Three
small books bound together, each containing entries
as above. The debt book for 1734 has 136 pages; 1737
has 112 pages; 1756 has 160 pages. The 1756 debt book
is arranged alphabetically by names of rent-payers, the
other two are not.

small books bound together, each containing entries
as above. The debt book for 1758 has 129 pages; 1766
has 140 pages; 1767 has 134 pages; 1770 has 178 pages.
All are arranged alphabetically by names of rent-payers.
Liber 22—Debt Book 1753 Frederick County. This debt book has
66 pages and an index. No alphabetical arrangement.
Liber 22—Debt Book. 1754-1757 Frederick County. Three volumes
bound together, each containing entries as above, for
the years 1754,1755 and 1756 plus a few entries of rents
due in 1757 and paid in 1759. The debt book for 1754
has 101 pages and an index; 1755 has 112 pages; 1756
has 114 pages and includes the debt book for an addi-
tional rent roll, a separate list of lands lying on the-
west side of South Mountain, a list of entries of rents
due in 1757 and an index. No alphabetical arrange-
ment
Liber 23—Debt Books 1759-61 Frederick County. Three books
bound together, each containing entries as above. The
debt book for 1759 has 108 pages plus 10 pages of entries
on "Lands lying on the west side of the South Moun-
tain" (the latter are mixed up, misbound and renurn-
|
