index; 1767 has 20 pages; 1768 has 25 pages. With
the exception of the first one, all of these volumes are
arranged alphabetically by names of rent-payers.

Liber 12—Debt Books 1769-74 Calvert County. Five small books
for the years 1769, 1770, 1771, 1773, 1774 bound to-
gether, each containing entries as above. The debt
books for 1769 and 1770 each have 29 pages; 1771 has
36 pages; 1773 has 40 pages; 1774 has 35 pages. Entries
in all of these books are arranged alphabetically by
names of rent-payers.

Liber 13—Debt Books 1758-56 Charles County. Pour small books
bound together, each containing entries as above. The
debt book for 1753 has 48 pages; 1754 has 103 pages;
1755 has 84 pages; 1756 has 87 pages. No alphabetical
arrangement.

Liber 14—Debt Books 1757-61 Charles County. Five books
bound together, containing entries as above. The debt
books for 1757 and 1758 each have 87 pages; 1759 has
60 pages; 1760 has 52 pages and part of an index; 1761
has 53 pages. No alphabetical arrangement.

Liber 15—Debt Books 1762-66 Charles County. Five books bound
together, each containing entries as above. The debt
book for 1762 has 52 pages; 1763 has 54 pages; 1764
and 1765 each have 57 pages; 1766 has 60 pages. No
alphabetical arrangement.

Liber 16 -Debt Books 1767-71 Charles County. Five books bound
together, each containing entries as above. The debt
book for 1767 has 60 pages, for 1768, 40 pages, for 1769,
41 pages, for 1770, 77 pages and for 1771, 55 pages. No
alphabetical arrangement.

Liber 17—Debt Books 1772, 78, 74 Charles County. Three books
bound together, each containing entries as above. The
debt book for 1772 has 75 pages, for 1773, 91 pages and
for 1774, 70 pages. No alphabetical arrangement.

Liber 18— Debt Books 1734, 39, 49, 54 Cecil County. Four books
bound together, each containing entries as above. The
debt book for 1734 has 102 pages; as originally numbered
1739 has 29 pages plus 15 additional lists of lands in-
cluded in resurveys, etc.; 1749 has 42 pages; 1754 has
