On motion by Mr. Stevens,
At 10.25 P.M.,

The Senate went into Executive Session.
At 10.35 P. M.,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative busi-
ness.

The Senate proceeded, to the consideration of the unfinished
business,

Mr. Bannon moved to adjourn,

Which was decided in the negative by yeas and nays
as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Bannon, Ford,
Cooper, Joyce,
Dennis, Knight,
Freeman, Lee—8.

NEGATIVE.

Messrs. President, McCulloh,
Aydelotte, Mudd,
Brewer, Newcomer.
Getty, Stevens,
Humphreys, Steiner,
Lawrence, Suit,
Lloyd, Walsh—14.

At 10.45 P. M ,

Mr. Bannon moved a call of the Senate.

At 10.50 P. M.,

On motion by Mr. Aydelotte,
Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.

On motion by Mr. Walsh, it was

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on Claims
be authorized to issue his certificate in favor of the Journal
Clerk of the Senate, for six days per diem, for correcting and
revising the unprinted journals of the Senate, during the re-
cess of the Senate.

On motion by Mr. Getty, it was

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on Claims
pay T. F. Cox, two days per diem, for opening the Session as
Sergeant-at-Arms.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16,17, 18, 19 and 20, title
"Baltimore County," sub-title "Roads," and to re-enact the
same with amendments,
