The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following bill:

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional Section to
Article 75, of the Code of Public General Laws, to regulate
the practice in cases of application for new trial in the
several Courts in this State.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably snid bill.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The rules were suspended so as to give said bill a second
reading this day, by yeas and nays as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.
