The unfinished business was suspended in order to take up
the following bills :

Mr. Bannon, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill to authorize Alexander Franklin to erect a gate
across a public road in Anne Arundel county.
On motion by Mr. Bannon,

The rules were suspended so as to give a second reading
this day, to said bill by yeas and nays as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Bannon, Knight,

Brewer, Lee,

Cooper, Lawrence,

Dennis, Lloyd,

Freeman, McCulloh,

Ford, Newcomer,

Said bill was then read the second time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following messages :

April 3rd, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message proposing that the two
Houses of the General Assembly do adjourn sine die, at 12
o'clock, midnight, the 3rd instant, and respectfully concur in
the same.
