Pending the consideration of said bill and amendment,
On motion by Mr. Gorman,

Were referred to Messrs. Hepbron, Gorman and Getty.

House bill entitled an Act to protect persons traveling in
the highways in Harford, Cecil, Howard, Washington, Bal-
timore, Frederick and Montgomery county, where the same
crosses any Railroad track,

Being upon its third reading,

On motion by Mr. Fields (Mr. Steiner in the Chair),

Was indefinitely postponed by yeas and nays as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.
Messrs. President, Gorman,

Aydelotte, Humphreys,
Bannon, Lloyd,
Cooper, McCulloh,
Freeman, Stevens—11.
Ford,

NEGATIVE.

Messrs. Getty, Steiner,
Knight, Suit,
Newcomer, Walsh—6.
Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
Mr. Suit, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Prince George's county, to abate the interest
on certain judgments in favor of the County Commissioners
of Prince George's county, against Richard T. Robinson and
his securities.

Which was read the second time.

Also unfavorably,

House bill entitled an Act to change the dividing line
between the 6th and 12th Election Districts of Prince
George's county.

Which was adopted.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, of the Acts
of 1874, chapter 265, entitled an Act to remove all gates
from the public roads in Prince George's county, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the second time.
On motion by Mr. Gorman,

The Senate at 7.50 P. M., took a recess until 8. P. M.
