Insert after Section 5, Section —. And be it enacted, That
in order to enable the said register to revise the list of regis-
tered voters in each of the precincts of the respective wards
of Baltimore city, the Board of Police Commissioners of Bal-
timore city shall within one month before the time hereinbe-
fore provided for the revision of the lists of regisiered voters,
cause a census of the legal voters in each of the voting pre-
cincts into which the several wards of Baltimore city shall
then be divided, to be made by their police officers, and re-
turned by said officers to the office of the Board of said Police
Commissioners, and the said Board shall furnish a copy of the
list of voters so returned as residents in each precinct to the
register of such respective wards, on or before the day
when the register opens his office for the registration of voters
in such respective wards, and such census shall be made and
returned in the same manner before each election of the
Members of the General Assembly, and copies thereof shall
be iurnished to the register as aforesaid.
