The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following message:

Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received a message from your Honorable Body,
requesting the return to your House of House bill relating to
the Scraping and Scooping of Oysters in the Choptank river,
49. We hereby comply with vour request, and return the bill.

The bill being again before the Senate,
Mr Lloyd submitted the following; amendments.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend title, strike out "eleven and twelve," and insert
"ten and eleven."

Strike out the words ''Section 2. And be it enacted by the
General Assembly of Maryland, That" and insert before
"the" the figure "1."

Section 12, line 9, after "counties," insert for sale to any
person."

Strike out in Section 2, line 11, the word ''May," and in-
sert "June."

Section 2, line 22, strike out "Wade's Point," und insert
"a line drawn from Tilghman's Point to the southwest point
of Parson's Island."

Section 2, line 24, after "Act," insert ''between the loth
day of September, in each year, and the first day of May
next following."

Strike out the number "11" after ''Section,'' and insert
"10."

Section 11, lino 10, alter "River," insert "for sale to any
person."
