AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section, 2, line 1, after the word "Trustee," insert "in the
City of Baltimore."

Which was concurred in, and bill passed by yeas and nays
as follows :

On motion by Mr. Walsh, it was
Ordered, That House bill 364 be printed as amended.
Mr. Lloyd, from Committee on Finance, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled an Act to add Sections to Article 78, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Refuge, House of,"
for the purpose of providing for the female House of Refuge.
Which was read the second time.

Mr. Walsh, from Committee on Finance, jeported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay Thomas E. Ensor, late Collector of Taxes for Balti-
more county, money erroneously paid into the Treasury.
Which was read the second time.

Mr. Getty, from Committee on Finance, reported unfavor-
ably the following bills:

First. House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money, for the purpose of removing the remains of Maryland
Soldiers of the late Confederate States Army, and interring
them in the cemetery at London Park.

Second. House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay lor paving the bed of the street bounding on
the State House Circle, and for repairing and improving the
pavement around the same.
Which were adopted.

Said bills were then returned to the House of Delegates.
Mr. Getty, from Committee on Pensions, reported favor-
ably,
