excepted, in Baltimore city," and "five days in each of the
counties."

Amend Section 4, by adding after the words "made known
to them," "provided that the party so asking that any reg-
istered voter be struck from the list shall make affidavit that
the voter to be struck from the list as disqualified, and shall
present to the Register a written specification of the alleged
disqualification, and said written specification shall be pre-
served by the Register, and subject to examination by any
person at any time during the sitting of said Register."

Section 10, line 14, after the words "residence of each per-
son in the City of Baltimore shall be," and before the words
"set opposite," strike out the words "as far as known."

Amend Section 4, by adding alter the works "respectively'"
"and the name of the person or persons informing the Register
that said registered voter is disqualified, the name of the
party so informing to be enteied in the space allotted for the
cause of disqualification."

Add to Section 5, "and on all applications of certificates of
previous registration by the person so registered, by letter or
otherwise, the certificate shall of furnished by the Register
at the earliest date possible afttr the application is made,
which certificate shall be presented to the Register by the
person entitled to the same, or by some responsible person
known to the Register before his name shall be added to the
list to which the voter desires to be transferred."

Amend Section 9, by inserting after the words "made
known to them," the words "as required in Section 4, of
this Act."

Amend Section 10, by inserting after the words lists of
qualified voters, (line 16,) or in the revised registration
books returned to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the re-
spective counties, or to the Clerk of the Superior Court of
Baltimore city."

Add to Section 10, "and no person shall be registered
after the expiration of the time for correcting the lists."

Section 11, line 8, page 14, manuscript bill, amend by
striking out the word "two," and inserting the word "ten."

Strike out "witnesses," in Section 12, and insert "evi-
dence."

Amend Section 16, by insetting after the words "Balti-
more City," the words., "upon the written request of the
registers of voters."

Add at the end of Section 17, "Provided that in the coun-
ties the copy or copies of said lists shall be delivered to the
