and suitable ferry from Brooklyn to Baltimore city, or by
building the bridge and roads thereto as provided in Sections
2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, of this Act.

Section 7. And be it further enacted, That the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore, be and they are hereby authorized,
directed and required on or before October 1st, 1876, to take
charge and possession, of the bridge over Gwynn's Falls,
known as Harman's bridge, according to the Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, of 1867, chapter 94.

Section 8. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take ef-
fect from the date of its passage.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend title, by striking out "Talbot county, and in."
Section 1, lines 3 and 4, strike out "Talbot county, and
in the waters of."

Section 1, line 5, strike out "first," and insert "twen-
tieth."

Strike out Section 2, and amend by inser ing the fol-
lowing :

"Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That nothing in this Act
shall conflict with or repeal any of the provisions of the Act
of 1874, chapter 466, relating to fisheries."
