On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The rules were suspended so as to give a second reading
this day to said bill, by yeas and nays as follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Cooper, Newcomer,
Duke, Phelps,
Dennis, Stevens,
Freeman, Steiner,

NEGATIVE—None.
Said bill as amended, was then read the second time.

Mr. Stevens, (by unanimous onsent,) presented the me-
morial of a meeting of citizens of Baltimore, in relation to
the bill pending in the House, to suspend the Sunday Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judi-
cial Proceeding.

Mr. Freeman, from the Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

House bill in relation to laying of streets in Baltimore
county, adjoining Baltimore city.
Which was read the second time.

On motion by Mr. Gorman,
The rules were suspended so as to take up
House bill entitled an Act to add a sub-section to be
known as sub-section 2, to Section 10, of Article 56, of the
Code of Public General Laws,

Which was read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays as iollows:

AFFIRMATIVE.
